God has never left us unequipped in every unusual situation we find ourselves in
Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted something and a LOT has happened since then.
I started a new job with an organisation I only dreamed of working with when I was in college. I honestly didn’t think I’d end up working for this firm as I thought I’d only be able to if I get to be a CPA. Yes, you can say that maybe I just don’t know enough about the company to actually understand what opportunities they offer, but personally I have shut the idea off way back when I decided that I wasn’t going to be an accountant as such – thinking that I’d only be able to get to one of the Big 4 with a CPA badge. But as always, the Lord has his way of surprising us especially at times when we think something is no longer possible. So finally, I can say that I’ve ticked a 10year old item off my goals list. And to add, I am doing something that I really enjoy – including all the hard work it entails!
But it wasn’t all fun and sunshine, as the whole world suddenly went into lockdown due to COVID-19 – no travels, no parties, no visiting of friends and no working from the office. This pandemic has definitely shook the entire world and has changed everyone’s lives in a snap, but still we are lucky that we live in a time where connections can still be maintained albeit in distance – with all the apps and technology available right at our fingertips so it does somehow makes it a little bit easier – though not entirely.
As the title suggests, yes, another surprise for us this year is finding out that we are pregnant and expecting our very first kid! I wasn’t really sure how to feel about it at first given the unusual circumstance we are in, but nonetheless, God has never left us unequipped in every unusual situation we find ourselves in, so I don’t see why that wouldn’t happen this time around – and I guess that gave me all the comfort and courage I need to be able to enjoy this new season. I’m planning to diarise my little pregnancy journey. So hopefully I’ll have a bit more discipline and extra load of diligence to pull that one off. But who knows!
Also, Jong started creating some contents in Youtube – I know, the effect of this pandemic! But we honestly found ourselves enjoying the process – sharing what we can and having fun while we’re at it. If you want to see some of the contents – feel free to visit Jong & Cla on Youtube! Wow! Promote promote!
Unfortunately for me, I lost all of the photos and videos I had for the past 5 years as my phone decided to die and I had no choice but to reset without backing up any of it. One major lesson for me I guess – to always back up important stuff on my phone! So if you’d flick through my phone’s gallery now, you’ll end up seeing a number of belly/bump photos and heaps of BTS’s Jin! Yes, I am now also a self-confessed ARMY. I love each of them in different ways, but of course will always love Jin above all – next to my Jongsky of course!
So I’ll wrap this up before this ends up being a novel! Hope to post something again real soon! Stay safe! xx
Aw. So proud of you dear! ? keep it up
